Rescue 47-10
1995 Peterbilt -- American Fire & Rescue. Unit # 47-10 is a 16-foot walk-in rescue truck and carries an assortment of rescue and support equipment. This unit is also equipped with a 25kw PTO driven electrical generator and a 10-foot elevated light tower with six - 1500 watt fixtures and 4 – 1500 watt fixed lights. Hydraulic rescue tools, smoke ejectors, extra SCBA units and tanks, first aid supplies, and hand power tools are located in the unit’s side compartments. A 300 horsepower Cummins engine with an Allison transmission powers 47-10. This unit can also serve as a command post and rehab vehicle at emergency scenes. |

Engine 47-11
Unit # 47-11 – 1984 Emergency One Hurricane engine. Rated at 1000 gpm with a 750-gallon booster tank, it has 1000 feet of 4” supply hose, 1.5” and 2.5” hand-lines and various size nozzles. Unit # 47-11 is also equipped with a 6 kw-diesel generator. Unit # 47-11 was extensively refurbished in 1999, adding compartment space and updated emergency lighting. Hard suction trays and flexi-suction hose with a floating strainer were added in 2002. 47-11 has a 239 horsepower Detroit 6L-71N engine and Allison transmission.

Pumper 47-12
Unit # 47-12 – 1993 Spartan - 3 D engine. Rated at 1250 gpm with a 750-gallon booster tank, it has 1500 feet of 4” supply hose, 1.5” and 2.5” hand-lines and various size nozzles. 47-12 has high side compartments on both the left and right sides of the body. Ground ladders are carried in an overhead ladder rack on the left side. In addition to fire suppression equipment, it has an 8 kw-diesel generator and 120 volt scene lighting fixtures. A 300 horsepower Cummins engine with an Allison transmission powers 47-12. An enclosed cabinet was added to the rear cab wall in 2003 to hold EMS equipment.

Engine 47-13
Unit # 47-13 – 2002 Spartan - Luverne engine. Rated at 1500 gpm with 780-gallon booster tank, it carries 1500 feet of 4” supply hose, 1.75” and 2.5” hand-lines and various size nozzles. Unit # 47-13 carries a hydraulic rescue tool, thermal-imaging camera, 10 kw hydraulically driven generator and 3000 watt elevated light tower. 120 volt scene lights are also mounted on the cab and rear of the body. The compartments on 47-13 are “rescue” depth -- allowing for extra storage capacity. A 315 horsepower Cummins engine with an Allison transmission powers 47-13.

Utility 47-18
Unit # 47-18 – 1991 Chevrolet pick up is a utility vehicle for towing the SCBA Cascade Trailer or other trailers. A small tank and gasoline powered pump can be slid into the bed of the truck for use on brush fires. A 7.5-foot snowplow blade is used to remove snow from the Department’s parking areas.

SCBA Cascade Trailer
SCBA Cascade Trailer – The Department jointly owns and operates a SCBA trailer for servicing SCBA units and other cascade systems. The trailer and 21-cfm air compressor are cooperatively owned with four other fire departments.
